This is kind of corny. But today for my creative moment I went to the park with Lizzy. We romped around and sat on the swings. It was such a beautiful day that I couldn't help but feel perfectly content as I sat there swinging, listening to the wind and birds. My favorite primary song came to my mind, "Heavenly Father Loves Me." I love that song so much, so I wrote a third verse to myself while swinging and waiting for Spencer to be done with work. I'm not a songwriter (obviously) but it is healing to the soul to pause and look around you and recognize the beautiful world Heavenly Father has created just for you.
He gave me the sun to light up my day, the moon to watch over my night
He game me a family that's mine to keep, forever if I but choose right
He hears all my prayers when I kneel by my bed, He shares in my sorrow and glee
When I look around me and see all I have, I just know Heavenly Father Loves me
